I dont think Google bought Skype yet, as GTalk is a cmpetitor to Skype AND a quick Googling shows the following links:
and I also read that "Ebay has already stated that it will acquisition VoIP provider Skype to offer a new advertising service"
Anyway, consulting service is good idea....but I was thinking that if we can match our concept with adwords somehow....my idea is too vague right now........but somehow TBE and adwords can provide a great result, I feel.
Incentives should only be given after one gives rewarding referrals.....be it members or clients. Inviting 50 inactive users adds 0 value....but invitng a couple of enthusiasts who perform well sounds good. So that has to be worked out.
Also I was thinking about Exec blogs. We have talents from many spheres. So say we can engage three of them to write an online article on AskSpace. Say for example, the article in on new portable music players. So we let the manufacturers place a bid for ads on that page. We got expertise, so we can expect visitors. Also, the number of bloggers we have will help us achieving a HIGH google rank. So what say you?
Thanks for the kind words for Indian Team! I have become a great admirer of Graeme Smith's batting. Reminds me of the stories about the legendary Barry Richards.
Keep Talking.

Online brainstorming
I've had a look at online brainstorming techniques.
There's a pretty cool tool at brainreactions. It allows us to set up lists of ideas on a topic, and rate those lists individually, resulting in a colaboratively rated list.
Since we're not a huge team, this will not necessarily be the "be all". What is nice though, is that we can follow the RSS feeds from our work environment, helping our subconscious minds to churn up new ideas.
To recap, our first task:
Brainstorm ways in which the TBE website can be improved to facilitate our growth. What processes can be developed? What software can we add? What steps should we take? Discuss and submit a report to the HR team. (20 hours, 80 points)
I've started an experimental 'list'...no constraints or boundaries! Put on that green cap, and let'm rip. The more outlandish the better.

Team Building
Before we get down to the real work, let's just get to know each other.
I'm Franz Struwig, a 25 year old Computer Engineer from South Africa. You can view my personal blog for an angle on what I'm about.
For now you can get going by "commenting" on this post. Once you have a blogger account you can forward me your details, and I'll add you as an administrator.
Enjoy
